Quite the Idealist, Vladykin is a mover and shaker for the Elgava Reform Faction. While he has a keen political sense, his ideals interfer with his military duties and sensibilities as the game progresses. While he proves to be a valuble contact for Yuri and his crew, Nia steers him away from meddling with Yuri's destiny. One might argue... Yuri was a more valuble contact for him. Later on, on the eve of the Lugovalos invasion of the SMC, Vladykin is too busy impressing his higher ups with rhetoric to ponder the possibility of a real threat.
